There will be two groups of participants:

  • Youth Contestants (aged 12-18)
  • Adult Contestants (aged 19 and above)

A grand total of $20,000 in prizes will be awarded.*

For journalists, influencers, content creators, organizations, and everyone desiring to share Asian American stories.

  • Contestants are required to submit, in English
  • A video of less than one minute
  • and an accompanying essay of less than 150 words

The theme should focus on “My Gift to America.” 

  • Submissions are accepted until March 15th, 2025.
  • Time to vote: March 16th to April 1st, 2025.

  • Engage with acclaimed filmmakers & influential community leaders.
  • Get a ticket (worth $150) to the award ceremony. 
  • Win $5,000 (total $ 20,000) in grants for your future production.
  • Win a sponsored trip to Washington, D.C. by UCA.
  • First 20 submissions will receive AAS T-shirt.
